The sky is a powdery blue today. The land is blanketed in a thick layer of
snow. A blustery wind blows chilly air
all around outside. The latest top 40
countdown is playing in the background while I write various overdue blog
topics. I am wearing ear plugs. The children are playing to my right in the
living room, building pillow forts.
Daddy is working on a project in the shop. It has been a graceful day, unrushed yet full
of things getting accomplished; cooking, shopping, talking, loving, eating,
cleaning.
It is a good day.
